Terms and conditions — Wordkeeper

These terms govern the use of the game Wordkeeper. By downloading or using the game you accept what follows. If you do not agree, do not install it, or uninstall it.

Wordkeeper is a word game for iOS devices comprising arcade mode, story mode, a daily challenge, missions and a progression system with levels and rewards. Content and features may be changed, extended or removed through updates.

3. Licence of use

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the game on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use. The game is licensed to you, not sold.

4. Prohibited use

• Copying, distributing, reselling, renting or sub-licensing the game.
• Decompiling, disassembling or reverse engineering, save within the mandatory limits of the law.
• Using bots, code modifications, exploits or automated tools to alter scores, rewards or leaderboards.
• Circumventing advertising or purchase mechanisms.
• Entering nicknames or content that is offensive, unlawful or harmful to the rights of others in the game's public features.

In the event of a breach we may remove the affected scores from the leaderboards and, if necessary, restrict access to online features.

5. In-app purchases and virtual currency

The game may offer optional purchases through the App Store, including coins or other virtual goods. The following conditions apply:

• virtual goods are a licence of use limited to within the game, have no real monetary value and are not convertible, refundable or transferable outside the game;
• payments, refunds and subscription management are Apple's responsibility: refund requests must be addressed to Apple;
• if the service is discontinued or the game is removed from the store, unused virtual goods give no right to a refund, save as provided by mandatory consumer protection rules;
• if you are a minor, make purchases only with the consent of whoever holds parental responsibility. Apple's Family Sharing features and iOS restrictions allow purchases to be limited.

6. Advertising

The game may show adverts, including rewarded adverts that you voluntarily choose to watch in exchange for a bonus. We have no control over the content of third-party adverts and are not responsible for the sites or services they lead to. The processing of data for advertising purposes is described in the privacy policy.

7. Intellectual property

The game, its code, graphics, sounds, text, dictionary, trade marks and every other element belong to SicParviStudio or to their respective rights holders, and are protected by copyright law.

8. Progress and data loss

Your progress is saved on your device. Uninstalling the game, resetting the device or the absence of a backup may result in permanent loss. We are unable to recover progress not included in a backup and are not liable for its loss.

9. Availability and updates

We aim to keep the game working and compatible with supported versions of iOS, without guaranteeing that it is error-free or always available. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the game or individual features, giving notice where reasonably possible.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the game is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect damage, loss of data or loss of virtual goods arising from the use or non-use of the game. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or the mandatory rights granted to consumers by Italian and European law.

11. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumer users, the competent court is that of the consumer's place of residence or domicile, where situated in Italy. This is without prejudice to alternative dispute resolution and the European Commission's ODR platform.

12. Relationship with Apple

Apple is not a party to this agreement and has no support obligations in relation to the game. Any support requests should be addressed to us at the address given above.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for technical, regulatory or product reasons. The applicable version is the one published on this page on the date shown above; continued use of the game after publication counts as acceptance.
