iOS game “Wordkeeper” · Last updated: 25 July 2026

This policy describes what personal data is processed when you play Wordkeeper, for what purposes, and which rights you can exercise. It is issued under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Address: to be completed
Email: [email protected]

For any request concerning your personal data you can write to the email address shown.

2. General principle

Playing requires no account and no identifying data. Game progress is saved on the device.

3. Data processed

3.1 Game progress (on the device)

Scores, levels reached, coins, completed missions, match statistics and preferences (audio, vibration, difficulty) are saved locally on your device. If you have iCloud backup enabled, they may be included in the backup managed by Apple under Apple's terms.

3.2 Leaderboards and achievements

If you choose to use the social features based on Game Center, your score and the nickname associated with your Apple ID may be published on the leaderboards. That processing is carried out by Apple under its own policy; you can turn Game Center off in your device settings.

3.3 Technical and diagnostic data

If you have consented to sharing diagnostic data with developers, Apple may send us crash reports and usage statistics in aggregated form that cannot be traced back to you. Sharing can be turned off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

3.4 Purchase-related data

In-app purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment data: only aggregated sales figures are reported to us.

3.5 Data you send us

If you write to us for support or to report a problem, we process your email address and the content of your message for as long as it takes to reply.

4. Purposes and legal bases

5. Advertising

The game may show adverts served through Google AdMob, including rewarded adverts that you are free to choose to watch. To serve adverts, AdMob may process device identifiers, approximate location data derived from the IP address, and information about interaction with the adverts.

On first launch you are asked, through Apple's system prompt (App Tracking Transparency), whether you allow tracking for advertising purposes:

You can change this choice at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Google's processing is described in its privacy rules for partners.

6. Data recipients

We do not sell or pass on your data to third parties for their own purposes.

7. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some of the parties listed are based in the United States. Transfers take place on the basis of the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR, in particular the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

8. Retention

9. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (Arts. 15-22 GDPR) and withdraw advertising consent at any time. To delete local data it is enough to uninstall the game.

For other requests write to [email protected]. If you believe the processing infringes the GDPR you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).

10. Minors

The game is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

11. Security

We adopt technical and organisational measures appropriate to protecting the data processed. Data on the device is protected by the security mechanisms of iOS.

12. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the game or to the law. The version in force is the one published on this page, bearing the last-updated date shown above.
